Review: I enjoyed this book. It reminded me that I have enjoyed historical fiction in the past. I agree with him that you can suffer through anything as long as you have a purpose. It kinda made me feel like the little things I struggle with are nothing compared to what he had to go through, so I should have no problem getting through my stuff. I do wish he had talked more about how to find meaning. He talked about why it’s important, but not really about how to find it if you don’t know what it is. I also thought the part about “Paradoxical intention” was interesting. I have anticipatory anxiety and wonder if I will be able to apply his suggestions.
